Change the brake fluid. Brake fluid is hygroscopic, meaning it attracts and absorbs moisture out of the air. Having too much water content in the brake fluid can considerably reduce the brake fluid’s effectiveness, causing obvious safety concerns.

Replace the air filter. An engine cannot run without fuel, but it also cannot run without air. The air filter keeps dust and other particles out of your engine. Since those particles become trapped in the filter, it should be replaced periodically.
