What's Your "December To Remember"?

"When the weather gets cold, our family loves to get together to play games. A few days before Christmas, we love to go driving around the area looking at the festive lights. On Christmas eve, we pop some popcorn and share in a family movie. That is fun for all of us despite our ages and we all look forward to the evening together." -Jean

Lexus To The Rescue!

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE

HO HO…UH OH!  While surfing the internet awaiting their big night out, Santa’s reindeer discovered a last-minute travel deal to spend the holidays in Hawaii and immediately departed for the tropics. In a panic, Santa called Lexus for help.

“I know Lexus delivers the best customer experience in the industry, so I called to see if they could help me out,” said Santa. “I needed a self-propelled sleigh with every bell and whistle to complete my task of delivering toys to all the good boys and girls around the world.”

“When we got the call from Santa, we immediately sprang into action,” said Lexus General Manager Mark Templin. “We couldn’t bear the thought of leaving the big guy high and dry. Our elves and engineers are proud to introduce the ‘Lexus Flying Luxury Cruiser,’ or LFLC for short.”

The new Lexus Flying Luxury Cruiser features:

An advanced Lexus Hybrid Drive system with 800 reindeer-power which creates fewer emissions than even a single reindeer. It also features an EV mode to allow Santa to stealthily land on every rooftop

Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert to make Santa aware of any objects around him (like chimneys) to ensure safe maneuvering

Advanced Pre-Collision System to gauge if Santa is approaching an object too quickly in which case it will slow down and stop the Cruiser, helping prevent Grandma from getting run over

Lexus Navigation System with e-Destination so Santa can send all the addresses for the nice children to his Cruiser in advance.

Lexus Enform® with a Pandora® playlist that includes all Santa’s favorite tunes from “Grinch Live from Whoville,” “Frosty and the Snowmen” and the ever-popular band “Ebenezer and the Scrooges.”

A large, red LED and infrared light with stereo cameras for the front of his sleigh so he can see on a foggy night without Rudolph.

Of course, the LFLC comes with a lifetime warranty and Lexus’ 24-Hour Roof-side Assistance for Santa and Mrs. Claus’ peace of mind.

“I can’t thank Lexus enough for making sure all the girls and boys around the world have a great Christmas,” said Santa, with a twinkle in his eye. “You’ll go down in history.”

Your Monday Maintenance Tip: Preserve your car during long-term storage

2

Not going to use your car for more than a month? Make sure you store it properly to prevent unnecessary damage and repairs upon your return by placing a vapor barrier on your garage floor. A 4-mil polyethylene drop cloth will do.

"I Highly Recommend This Dealership" Says The Author Of This Five Star Review

Dealer-rater-logo
"Two different visits to replace differential and transfer case oil in Toyota Rav4 and Lexus RX350. Plus the visit for RX350 to fix the roof rack.
Yes i brought Toyota to Lexus dealership!
Their price was better (extremeness uncommon for this dealership) and customer service is way better! You are treated as VIP, great waiting room, nice reps...
Both cars needed this service done for oil. Price was the best, service fast and cars very clean afterwords.
For roof rack, I was even given a rental!
I highly recommend this dealership if you can afford their service rates (for other services)"

Employee Spotlight - Kay - Guest Services

Lexus of Wayzata is excited to highlight Kay in our November e-Newsletter. Kay currently is responsible for Guest Services at the reception area of the dealership. She started with us as a Service Cashier three years ago and quickly advanced to Guest Services within the first three months of working at Lexus of Wayzata.

Kay stated that, “the favorite part of my job is getting to know our customers when they arrive at the dealership and making them feel welcome.” We are all very pleased with the standard Kay has set for helping our guests, making them feel at home and managing the phones at our Guest Services area. She is very determined to take care of every guest with the highest level of customer service.

Outside of work, Kay enjoys swimming, boating and most water activities, even fishing. She also had a family landscaping business so gardening will always be a hobby of hers. Her son has followed in her footsteps in Landscaping and recently completed a two year Heavy Equipment program at Central Lakes College in Staples, MN, near Brainerd, MN.

Kay grew up in Minneapolis and lived the last 21 years in Orono, MN. Prior to working for Lexus of Wayzata she was a flight attendant for 25 years with Northwest Airlines. She had the opportunity to take early retirement and stay at home with her son when he was a teenager. Kay enjoyed the extra time with her family.

Kay still has lifetime travel benefits and hopes to do more traveling in the coming years. Her favorite places to visit while working for the airlines were Boston, MA, Orange County, CA and London, England. She also misses traveling to warmer weather during the winter months in Minnesota.

We appreciate Kay’s dedication to Lexus of Wayzata and the customers she greets every day. Thank you Kay for all of your hard work; our Guest Services Representatives truly benefit from your experience in Customer Service.
